When I first walked through the door,

And saw you dancing across the floor,

My heart skipped a jump and a beat,

It was you I was here to meet.

Chorus: Your love pours down on me like rain,

Washing away my sadness and my pain,

That’s been bottled up inside for many years,

Now it flows out through my tears.

With that special sparkle in your eyes,

My feelings for you I cannot deny.

Sweet Angel

A special baby girl was born on 9/11,

Nine years later Jesus needed her in Heaven.

A vibrant girl excited about life,

Loving, caring, and super nice.

We’re not sure why things happen this way,

Or why Christina Taylor Green was taken that day.

From this devastating tragedy,

Brought hope to deserving families.

She was meant for a higher purpose,

Bringing faith to so many others.

Now a sweet angel in the clouds...

Remembering the birth of Jesus Christ,

Believing in celebrations of life.

Bringing peace and hope to family,

An Angel earns their wings.

The Holiday Season if for giving, not receiving

A time to remember and for believing

That the World is still filled with lots of joy

For every good little girl and boy

A time when wishes and dreams come true

And knowing your family always loves you

Sleigh rides, eggnog, and brightly colored lights

Falling asleep while waiting for Santa late at night

Excited and joyful, early Christmas morn

Sharing the day when our Savior w...

The Final Shot (song lyrics)

Posted by Ryan J. Cunningham on November 24, 2010 at 2:57 PM Comments comments (0)

Laughed at, pointed at, like a puppet on stage,

So much hatred, anger, and rage.

Ridiculed, tormented, and bullied each day,

Revenge seemed to be the only way.

Others think I’m different in every way,

Chased and beaten up all through the day.

I try to run, there’s no place to hide.

Living scared, lonely, and empty inside.

Nobody wants to be my friend,

Only one way to make all this end.

Over the Edge (song lyrics)

Posted by Ryan J. Cunningham on November 24, 2010 at 2:51 PM Comments comments (0)

Going to that 9 to 5 job day after day

Working hard to earn an honest pay

Busting your back to do the very best

Than to be screwed by all the rest

Knowing the world is so unfair

And the boss never seems to care.

Chorus: Feel like going over the edge

On top of the highest ledge

Looking down all around

Ready to leap towards the ground.

Finding true love in that special one

Always ...
